TIP OF THE DAY
Key control….what it means, is don’t be handing out security gate keys to everyone. If an employee is fired or quits and is disgruntled, you may have a loose key in the wrong hands!
If you are locking up windows at night, there is no reason for those keys to be on anyone key chain, as windows are not an egress point.
Doors are different admittedly, but consider using interchangeable cores . Not a cheap solution , but a secure one.
Minimally, try and key your main doors and their associated security gates, alike…..that way if the keys are a risk issue, it’s one cylinder set and one key set to be cut, not two.
